Wegovy and Wegovy pill cost without insurance
Short answer: self-pay Wegovy injections cost $349 a month at every standard dose, and $399 for Wegovy HD (7.2 mg). New patients pay $199 for their first 2 monthly fills at 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg, through December 31, 2026. The Wegovy pill costs $149 (1.5 mg), $199 (4 mg) or $299 (9 mg and 25 mg).

What it adds up to in a year
- Wegovy injection at $349: a box of 4 weekly pens lasts 28 days, so a year is about 13 boxes, or about $4,537.
- Wegovy pill at $299: about $3,588 a year. At $149: about $1,788.
Is there a refill deadline like Zepbound's 45 days?
Not on NovoCare's page when we checked. Novo's self-pay prices are listed without a refill window. A 90-day supply is possible if your prescriber orders it. Lilly's 45-day rule applies to Zepbound and higher Foundayo doses.
Where you can fill it
- NovoCare Pharmacy: home delivery with free shipping. You need a prescription.
- Your local pharmacy: NovoCare lets you choose pickup and use the savings offer there.
- TrumpRx: the TrumpRx Wegovy page lists the same $199, $349 and $399 prices and gives a coupon to show at a retail pharmacy.
"Pay as little as $25" is not the self-pay price
That offer is a savings card with a cap of $100 off per month, and it excludes people with government insurance such as Medicare or Medicaid. If you pay fully out of pocket, the prices above are the ones to compare.
